The Amadagio is under construction at a shipyard in the Netherlands and will depart on its first cruise on March 26, 2006. It will accommodate 150 passengers in 71 cabins and four junior suites. The ship will set new standards for river cruising in that it will have wireless Internet access and a flat-screen TV in every cabin. It also will carry 25 bicycles so our passengers can ride bikes along the rivers when the ship docks. The standard cabins will measure 170 square feet, while the four junior suites encompass 255 square feet. Plus, 82 percent of the cabins will have French balconies. The Amadagio will have a glassed-in wellness area with panoramic views, an elevator, a fitness center, a massage room and a hair salon. The Adagio Lounge and Bar will accommodate up to 50 passengers and is ideal for groups. The Panorama Lounge can accommodate all the passengers at once. The Amadagio will also have an area on the Sun Deck that can stay open even when cruising under the low bridges of the Main-Danube Canal.
