DAY 3, Sun Today is at leisure to explore Paris, the "City of Lights", and its world famous sights. The Opera, Louvre, Champs Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame are just a few of the many historic points of interest. The ship departs this evening (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 4, Mon Arrive this morning in Les Andelys, set in one of the loops of the Seine river. You may choose to explore the ruins of the Gaillard Castle which date back to the 12th century, the churches of Notre-Dame and Saint Sauveur and the Nicholas Poussin museum. The ship departs in the early afternoon to begin the journey to Le Havre (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 5, Tues Spend the entire day independently in Le Havre. Founded in 1517, Le Havre is the second largest port in France. Le Havre is home to Malraux, the Fine Arts Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Graville Priority Gardens and the Church of Saint Francois (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 6, Wed Arrive in Caudebec-en-Caux in the morning. Spend several hours on your own exploring sights like the House of the Knights Templar, the Museum of the Seine, the Bridge of Brotonne and the masterpiece of Flamboyant architecture, the church of Notre-Dame. Depart in the early afternoon for Rouen (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 7, Thurs Enjoy a full day at leisure in Rouen, the capital of Normandy. The city is home to Saint-Maclou Church, a Flamboyant Gothic structure famous for its five portals and carvings on the wood doors dating back to the 16th century. Other main sights are the Place du Vieux-Marché, where Joan of Arc was executed, Law Courts, St. Ouen's Abbey, the Gros-Horloge (or Great Clock) and the Cathedrale of Notre-Dame (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 8, Fri This morning, explore Vernon independently. The villages of Vernon and Giverny are best known as the inspiration for Claude Monet. Main sights are the Vernon Museum, Monet's House and Gardens, Bizy Castle and the Musee d'Art Americain (American Art Museum). Depart in the afternoon for Paris.
