DAY 1, Fri Depart USA to the Czech Republic. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey

DAY 2, Sat Arrive in Prague and transfer to the ship for embarkation. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner on board (D): CRUISE

DAY 3, Sun This morning, enjoy an optional walking tour of Prague. Meet the ship at the Mirejovice river lock. Cruise to Litomerice (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 4, Mon Cruise to Bad Schandau. You may join an optional guided tour to Königstein Fortress, located on a plateau more than 1000 feet above the winding Elbe River. Dating from the 12th century, the fortress offers a magnificent view over the surrounding scenery. Return to the ship and cruise towards Dresden (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 5, Tues Enjoy a full day at leisure in Dresden, the capital of Saxony. You may choose to explore the Green Vault, with its exquisite collection of jeweled objects d'art in gold and silver. Nearby, is the Moritzburg Hunting Lodge originally built in the 16th century and remodeled in the 18th century. This spectacular chateau is surrounded by a park and a lake (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 6, Wed Cruise to Meissen where you will have free time to walk and explore. You may visit the porcelain factory to learn about the production of manufactured 'White Gold'. Other sites include Cathedral Hill with a view of the Gothic cathedral, the Old Town and the Saxonian wine country. Time at leisure before returning to the ship (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 7, Thurs After lunch, arrive in Wittenberg, sometimes called Lutherstadt. Enjoy the day at leisure, or visit  the Castle Church where Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses, the Luther House museum and Wittenberg Castle (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 8, Fri Enjoy an entire day independently in Magdeburg, which features the striking contrast between medieval monuments and modern architecture. You may choose to visit the historical Old Market to see the Baroque City Hall and the famous 'Magdeburger Reiter' (Horseman of Magdeburg), or view the Romanesque monastery, the oldest preserved building of the city dating back to the 11th century. Other sites include the Gothic Cathedral of Magdeburg with its famous display of the 'Foolish and the Wise Virgins', the tomb of Emperor Otto, and the remains of the crypt built in the 10th century. Tonight enjoy a gala farewell dinner (B, L, D): CRUISE

DAY 9, Sat This morning, arrive in Potsdam. Transfer to the Berlin airport for your departure flight (B).
